Dr Barbra Hanna, DO, MSCP, FACOG

Originally from Philadelphia, Dr. Hanna moved to the Midwest to obtain her medical degree from Des Moines University. She then completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois in Chicago. She met her west coast husband in medical school and they both decided to call Chicagoland their home. She is married with 3 children and a 90lb German Shepherd.

Dr Hanna realized early in her medical career her true passion was practicing Gynecology and Women's Healthcare, not delivering babies. She spent most of her career in private practice as a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon. In 2019, she began to focus on midlife health, perimenopause and menopause. Hearing from patients they craved a women's care office devoted to the next phase of life, she founded MyMenopauseRx.

Michelle Corcoran, CCMA

Michelle is a certified medical assistant and our office manager at MyMenopauseRx Gynecology & Wellness. She also serves as our V.P of Clinical Operations for the MyMenopauseRx Corporation. She has over 19 years of medical office experience. Michelle is devoted to helping women live their best lives at all ages.

Emilie McLain, DNP, APRN, WHNP, MSCP

Emilie earned her Bachelor's degree in nursing with Summa Cum Laude honors from the University of Illinois-Chicago and her Master's and Doctorate degrees from Frontier Nursing University. She is proud to share she has earned her MSCP as a North American Menopause Society Certified Practitioner. Emilie has an extensive nursing background as a bedside nurse in Med/Surg, Labor & Delivery and Postpartum and as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner in OB/GYN.

Emilie joined the MyMenopauseRx team to help women feel understood, educated and empowered in their healthcare.

Johanna Santoyo, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, HNC

Johanna graduated with her bachelor's degree in nursing from NIU in 2008 and went on to practice nursing in women’s health and pediatrics. After several years of clinical care, she realized she wanted more out of her nursing career, and chose to further her education by becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Johanna graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in March 2020, a week before the COVID 19 pandemic was announced.

Amongst the healthcare chaos, she chose a position focused on weight loss and found her true passion. Johanna loves helping patients reach their nutrition and weight loss goals. Sharing her personal commitment to adopting a healthy lifestyle and her own weight loss journey with patients makes Johanna’s care even more special to those who are struggling, Recognizing the positive impact she can make for women of all ages but especially at midlife, Johanna joined the MyMenopauseRx team to help women lose weight, reclaiming their waistlines and their health.

Heather Hartman

Heather has worked in the esthetics industry since 2003, learning from experience gained with employment by several elite spas in the Chicagoland area and through advanced certifications with the PCA Skin Academy. Trained at the prestigious Aveda Institute of Chicago, Heather combines her gentle touch with her clinical background to provide an optimal experience for her clients. Her knowledge of skin and skincare is extensive.

Heather's own battle with rosea and sun damage ultimately guided her path towards clinical esthetics. Knowing first-hand the struggle difficult skin can cause, naturally shaped her sincere demeanor and individualized approach to skincare – whether the issue is a stubborn breakout, slowing down the signs of aging, or correcting damage from the sun. Heather is completely dedicated to her craft and her passion for this industry shows through her knowledge and accomplishments.

Heather is focused upon, IPL photofacials, microneedling, dermaplaning, and peels. She is proactive in preventing signs of aging, and also working to treat it.

Jenny Volpe, ARDSMS - OB/GYN

Jenny is our ultrasound technician who has over 15 years of OB/GYN experience. When Jenny is not offering her ultrasound services at MyMenopauseRx, she provides her services at one of the top academic medical centers in Chicago.
